HELLO

I'm Cheryl, and I'm a communications professional who works with organizations to cultivate their ideas and develop plans for their messages to reach their target audiences. I believe that both authenticity and empathy are fundamental to relating with people, and I utilize these qualities in myself in how I approach my work.

I currently work for McMaster-Carr as a Recruiter. I've also worked as a Content Developer, Proofreader, and Merchandising Specialist for them. My previous work experience also includes retail management for Menards. Besides recruiting, I also work as a travel agent for Evolution Travel/Archer Travel Group.

I'm currently working towards specializations in Content Strategy for Professionals and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I graduated with a BS in Finance from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MS in Communication from Northwestern University.
